keeping powder in the measure tube

I just finished setting up my reloading system and I have a question before I run my first batch.

After I finish up my first batch, for the powder not used, still in the powder measure tube, can I just leave it in the tube when I know I'll run this same powder for my next batch? Or would you return this unused powder back to its storage container? Thanks...
 
Always empty your hopper when done reloading for the day. If you leave powder in your hopper, it will discolor the plastic making visability more difficult. Put it in its' original container to protect it from the environment.
