    MY FIRST POST!
HI I have seen ads for a new kel tec rifle in
    some gun magazines
    and I was wondering...
    1st, how much?,2nd when I move(from PRK) will I be able
to buy hi cap clips? Any good reports on those keltec
pistol carbines I can not buy as I live in a socialist state?

I would buy one IF---the price was less than a new Mini-14----otherwise I'm not sure if it's that much of a good deal.

    Kali and hi-caps------DREAM ON!!!

    BTW----Welcome to the board.

Ooopps----just reread------yes you can get hi-caps outside Kali----the Kel-Tec is supposed to take regular AR-15 mags -----and there are plenty of those around.

Rumor is Kel-Tec wont sell it here in Kali cuz of the crazy lawsuit law. Do a search on the SU-16. Wait til you get out of Kali to buy a rifle.

Get an M1A while you are here in CA, that's what I'm doing. hard to argue with .308

Ditto Sven's comment. And to it I'd add, make sure you look at the Scout/Bush Model M1A. Its got a 4 inch shorter barrel. You trade the ability to work the far end of the 308's range (greater than 600yds or so) for a package that's quite a bit more handy in close quarters. I've also had it mentioned to me that with the shorter barrel and CA required muzzle break that its pretty d@m loud but I'm not one to notice that kind of stuff.
