Kel Tec P32 - I like

Well I stopped by a gun shop on the way home. I originally went in to get their schedule for CHL classes, and of course I spent a few minutes just browsing the gun counter. Well I saw the little P32 sitting there with a price tag of $199 on it, and it followed me home.

The other day I went out and put 150 rounds through it. One box of Blazer and two boxes of Fiocchi. The gun had zero problems which was nice. This is my first Kel Tec, and I was weary because of the negative views a number of people had, but I was reassured by the greater number of positive reviews the company receives. I walked away from the range that day pleased with its performance.

It's one of the earlier guns I believe, and has the goofy little two dot sights. Took a few rounds to get use to, but after that it was hitting where I was aiming. I was extremely happy with its accuracy despite not liking the sights all too much.

Have 3 of the 32 in my home Wife and daughters carry. All have been great since 1st day Same with my 380 . Paint the little front sight with day glow orange model paint Will help picking up faster. I shoot mine 1 handed as I belive that likely way if needed you will be shooting . I bought the 10 round mag and found still easy to pocket carry .
Use ball ammo or first 2 rounds (Chamber and 1st off mag HP) then rest ball. Only time we ever had rimlock was the Winchester flat nose ammo . It same OAL as HP ammo.

the nice part is easier to shoot, one more round, even lighter than the .380

I bought two about 18 months ago. .380 was hard to find but there was still plenty of .32 so that's what we got. We are very happy with these little guns. At least in the beginning, they had less problems than the P3AT.

Was the gun new or used?
There is a small place near home that has one of those for $229.00 and it is tempting.
Not sure why I am attracted to it but I am.

Even used, KT still takes care of you, I explained that I had just gotten mine USED, and they sent me out parts to upgrade it and replace the springs.

I bought a new one which I initially had issues cycling unfired rounds through it. Ever since its has been excellent and I would highly recommend this little bug to anyone. I put the clip on the side and the trigger shoe on it and the wife carries and shoots the heck out of it. Feeds everything and hasn't had a hiccup. Recoil is almost nothing. The size of it is excellent which is why she carries it.This is the only gun she likes and she's tried a lot of them. Highly recommended.

I prefer the 32 in such a small gun. I am able to put multiple shots on target rapidly with the 32. I mostly practice point shooting but find the sights fine for the gun's intended purpose. Definitely snag free.

I have one.

Seems to function with everything I feed it.

My wardrobe usually allows me to carry a full-size Glock, so I have absolutely NO REASON to carry such an anemic caliber unless I just feel like carrying something weird. On those occasions, I have soft spot for the 32-20.

Anyhow, here's a size comparison.

That picture is a great example W.E.G. of the over all size difference and weight of three fairly common concealed carry guns.
I generally carry my Diamondback .380 but just this past week I bought a pocket holster and a cheapo IWB holster for my old S&W Model 37 Airweight,which as you know is the alloy frame version of your pictured Smith.
I must say it is a good bit bulkier in width and is at least a good inch and a quarter longer than my .380.
Fully loaded my Smith weighs 16 ounces which is four onces more than my loaded .380.
When a small light weight gun is wanted this is where that litle Kel-Tec P32 really shines.

The issue with cycling LIVE rounds (as in not shooting them) is that the wonderful Engineers at KT sized the ejection port for Brass, not bullets, so I suspect that a live round just clears it, and most likely at an angle.

my p32 is a 'walk the dog' or run to the supermarket kinda gun. it allows me to be armed without putting on a gunbelt or outer garmet. and with practice you can group under 4" at 21 feet; better still if you have the 'holdster' for it.

I have a P32, and use Fiocchi JHP in it. It's never had a single problem. Rated at 1100 fps.
