That was pretty sad...finally figured out that photobucket was trying to get me to use their service with my cell phone, which is why the format changed. Anyway, the pictures work now.

    Thanks!

Looks like the length and height are comparable, with the KT being thinner (a Kel Tec coming in thin and light? Impossible!)

I've had a FN FiveseveN in hand a few times, have any other pistols to compare it to?

I just picked up the PMR on Saturday. I watch my daughter on the weekends since my wife works on the weekends, so it may be a while til I get to the range.

Once I get to the range, I'll bring my chronograph to get true velocities from both pistols. I have not begun reloading for the 5.7, so it will be based on factory ammo.

It has been said by KT that the first gen PMRs had issues, but my SN is 6XX, so there should not be any issues with the pistol.

    which one is louder?
I have heard that .22 mags are deafening out of a pistol.

I had an NAA 22mag revolver with a 1-5/8th" barrel and it was pretty loud but I expect the PMR30 will not be as loud because of it's longer barrel.

Kinda funny how this thread pops up about 2 days after my uncle and I have a conversation regarding the PMR and Five-Seven and their similarities.

We are both seriously considering a PMR, I have found kel-tecs to be very useful tools and although I may be brand loyal (or brand partial I should say) to Glocks, you just can't quite fit a Glock 9mm in your pocket as well as a PF-9, which is also probably going to be the very next gun I buy.

For some stupid reason I got the Ruger LCP instead of the P3AT, mainly because my uncle has a P3AT and I just wanted to go another way and not get the same exact gun, plus the LCP is just a little less homely looking but that's nonsense, I now realize that there was a reason my uncle got the kel-tec and its because they are good little guns with a proven track record and I have no qualms about owning one.

$250 for a NIB pocket 9 that has a proven track record for reliability?!?!? Are you kidding me? Everybody can afford to defend themselves at that price. Kel-tec will get the job done

    And no cylinder gap.
My NAA mini isn't good for much beyond being LOUD. As a "gun for when you can't have a gun" it does OK, and it is a fun range toy for a few cylinders ... but hardly a gun I'll be shooting all day.
