From the History channel link below:

"On September 12, 2001, the day after the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center and Pentagon, NATO invoked Article 5 for the first time in its history, committing its members to stand by the United States in its response to the attacks."

"In addition to participation in the war in Afghanistan, NATO’s response to the 9/11 attacks under Article 5 included Operation Eagle Assist, in which NATO aircraft helped patrol the skies over the United States for seven months between 2001 and 2002, and Operation Active Endeavour, in which NATO naval forces were sent to perform counterterrorism activities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Operation Active Endeavour, which began in October 2001 and later expanded to the entire Mediterranean region, didn’t conclude until 2016."

Prince Harry himself fought in America's war in Afghanistan.

I'll add that one of the biggest dangers for Americans is losing the psychological war, which Russia and China have always been good at waging. The idea that America has no use for Europe and vice versa is right out of Russia's propaganda playbook to divide and conquer.

Yes well I fought in Afghanistan as well and we all know how disgracefully that ended, all the blood and treasure lost while granting the enemy a near total victory. The War in Iraq has ended with Iraq becoming a friend of the Iranians. And we all know how Vietnam ended, pretty much the same as Afghanistan but at least we didn't arm the NVA for the next 100 years. The Korean War was only a half success. So what war since WWII has ended well for the USA? Only the Gulf War which was ultimately overshadowed by the flawed US invasion of Iraq in 2003. Even the Germans are now arming their military again because they know the USA cannot be relied upon to protect them. There is absolutely zero vital US interests in Ukraine yet we choose involve ourselves in a Proxy War that likely won't end well for the Ukrainians anyway. Why? Because our State Department failed in their attempt to convince the Europeans to allow corrupt and backward Ukraine into NATO? Europe is not even that United in how to approach the problem, Germany, Hungary and others are still buying Russian oil and the US is not going to be able to provide an alternative source of energy. Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf States are openly saying they want to diversify there holdings into Chinese Yuan putting the PetroDollar at serious risk, probably because they don't want to be sanctioned by the crazy West for intervening in their local affairs like Russia.

The reality is the Post WW II World Order is ending before our eyes and it appears many people can't wrap their head around it. All of these problems are a direct result of USA foreign policy and pride, created by our own State Department. So sorry if I can't get excited about Kel-Tec sending some of the plastic fantastics to a corrupt country like Ukraine that is all but certain to lose this war anyway.
