Oh no problem I was very happy to see how these performed across the chronograph. Especially happy with the consistency, honestly I did not expect them to be any where close to what was advertised on the box.

I've tested the 124 gr +p 9mm ammo and 230 gr +p 45 acp HST ammo. Both were very close to advertised velocities also.

Federal seems to be on the up and up with the HSTs.

That's pretty impressive. Other than ammo marked especially for short barreled guns, It is quite common to see a bullet several hundred fps slower than advertised when fired from a 2" gun. I don't mess with factory ammo much since I reload almost all of my ammo, but from my experience, Buffalo Bore Bullets seem to chronograph closer to the advertised velocity than any other brand out there. It is getting better however and I think it's because more people are getting into self defense and actually researching their weapons and ammo more than ever so the manufacturers are being forced to be more realistic

This ammunition for personal defense is one of the most economical at least for now. I stopped by cabela's yesterday and they had them on sale for $18 for those interested.

Nice short barrel load that actually costs less at Cabela's than at Walmart.

Thanks for the review. I really have nothing to add except I have had mine for about six months and 1K plus rounds and it is a 'keeper'. I have nothing negative to say. I purchased the K6s for CCW to replace my K-frame with a 'bobbed' hammer. For general range work I thought I might miss the SA but after the first trip to the range and four boxes (one box of 125 gr. Federal magnums) of ammo I found there was no need for an exposed hammer...for me, the DA is that good. Before I finished shooting the first time out I was 'staging' the hammer (close to shooting SA). Crisp let off, no creep, very smooth and controllable even with magnum rounds.
