I don't know whether to use this robbery as an example to antis that it is not the type of gun used, its the person that is dangerous, but I never would have thought in this day and age, a mosin would be the weapon of choice. Maybe he was down on his luck and had to sell his 1911 from the first robbery. Either way, this brought a grin to my face and I hope it will to some of you, too.

    2 things.

    1. The comments make that article.

    2. Was anyone else 1/2 expecting to see him holding the rifle sideways also ????

The comments were hilarious! If I were the clerk I would be counting my blessings that the kid couldn't figure out how to fix the bayonet on that fire breather!

Moron holding a Mosin with the buttstock hacked off in front of his throat. I'd love to see him touch that thing off and watch it smack him.
Maybe someone should make a folding-stock version of the Mosin just for the entertainment value.

I see that although our turd-in-a-hood devolved from a pistol to a rifle - he still holds to the classics. I'll be watching for him to be using something like a Model 97 next time.
It's also interesting to note he has learned to appreciate gloves in his chosen field - I just think borrowing his mother's rose pruning gloves is a bit outa character.

As noted above - the comments are riotous - Saturday Night Live should be so funny!

Yeah wow, holding a butt-less Mosin right in front of his sternum/throat makes me think he'd rather run than pull the trigger, hope so but never assume so. Could be he's just stupid, seeing as he's armed-robbing that's probably the case. The 'gangsta' grip on the 1911 is also impressive.

    +1 to the bayonet comment!

How the heck does a hood-up bandana-masked robber get in, out, and away from a robbery with a LOOOONG gun like a Mosin??? You'd think that would stand out a bit and someone like me would notice and at least call the police with car description/plate #. Stupid robber is lucky, or at least good at timing?

I don't know about Eureka, but where I'm from there is always at least one police officer on duty in our Stop and Shops, (also irks me that there isn't one on duty at the post office where law-abiding citizens aren't allowed to carry!)

The comments on that page were indeed entertaining :)

iLikeOldgunsIlikeNewGuns, he was able to get away by concealing his sawed off mosin. That's why he sawed it off. Lol.

Still... that means he's walking a very strange gait, and in that sweatshirt either part of the gun is exposed or sweatshirt has a weird angled protrusion around the shoulder seeing as the gun still looks over 3' long, but I guess most people (tempted to use another word that rhymes with peeple) aren't very observant

now I'm picturing how he'd look while walking and concealing that thing and it's got me laughing

laughing aside though, I don't mind saying that if I was in that stop and shop and had the chance I wouldn't think twice to drop this clown.

ilikeoldgunilikenewguns, I was joking, I don't know how he was able to get away. If he stuffed it down his pants, he would have an awful swagger. But I suppose that might be stylish to some.
