David Kopel, Clayton Cramer, and Joe Olson are all longtime legal friends of the Second Amendment. In this article (downloadable for free) to be published in the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform, they review the patchwork of state and federal laws regarding knives and theorize about the legal justifications for applying the Heller and McDonald decisions to edged tools and/or weapons as well.
