these knives have made four trips to africa with me and have had a hand in gutting and capeing many animals and worked well. 1-a ww-2 usa made ka-bar knife. 2- a custom stuart smith african made knife. 3- a japanese made knife. 4- usa buck folder made knife. 5-japanese folder. eastbank.

number three is japanese marked precise deerslayer ltd on the blade, number two is marked japan-browning 101. here are two knives the skinners used, very cheaply made out of common iron-steel and they sharpened them on a cement block. i did leave them use my knives as long as they didn,t try to sharpen them, i did with a arkensaw stone. eastbank.
