Krink kit-legal in cali?

Hey guys,

Is it legal to own a Krinkov kit in California? I can see them becoming very scarce in the future and would like to buy one and the rest of the parts needed to complete it so that when I do move out of the state I can build one.

Under Federal law it might as well be a box of spoons. If it was imported in a legal manner (demilled receiver, no barrel), then its perfectly legal to possess a parts kit for a machine gun, as long as you don't have a FA receiver blank in your possession at the same time.

California might be a different story. I can't think of any logical reason it would be illegal, but then again, it is California...

The Krink parts kits are CA legal.

People use them to build CA legal semi-auto only AK pistols & AK rifles.
