Yesterday, while attending the Syracuse Gun Show, I had one of the most pleasant customer service experiences with Tom Kulwicki, owner of Alessi Holsters. I was looking at a particular holster that appeared to maybe fit a couple .380's. Unfortunately I hadn't originally planned to and therefore didn't have that firearm with me. So Tom held that holster aside while I looked to see if a dealer had the model on hand. Nobody had one until I encountered a friend who DID have one of the variations. It didn't quite fit. So, still uncertain of the fit, I went back and told him I'd had no luck. He handed the holster back and said,"take it home and try it out. If it works, and you want it..mail me a check. If not, just send the holster back." It's been a long time since I've seen that type of business trust. I already own a few Alessi holsters. That type of customer service will keep me going back to them. A truly great American company!

Sadly

I own MANY Alessi holsters ---- they were all made by Lou Alessi.

Sadly the new stuff is NOT what he put his name on,he passed a few years back and is SADLY missed by all who knew him.

I refuse to buy any stuff that is now produced with his name as I have compared them to his stuff and they do not hold a candle to his stuff !.

I daresay he is turning in his grave over this line of 'stuff'.

Ritchie Leather is in Lou's old shop and was his partner [ Skip Ritchie ] and learned to make the same stuff from the man that did it.

I am not a shill, nor am I paid as I am retired and shill for no one.

Just do not like to see the name besmirched as it is now.
