Guys,

Does anyone know the voltage range for the Labradar's external power supply jack?

I asked and the sales-rep who said it was proprietary information.

I am using a Li-ion rechargeable 2S2P, so it is 8.3V when fully charged. I figure the USB port takes the industry standard 5V and have a voltage regulator set for 5V on the battery pack. I would rather do away with the regulator if it can take the full 8.3V

The radar's internal battery compartment takes 6xAA in what looks like series so that's 9V.

What's the max voltage it will take without damage?

I use a regular USB battery pack. I have had mine for about three years and seem to recall there was an included cable. I have never used it with regular AA batteries. The battery pack works great. They sell one but there is nothing special about it. I think these battery packs are 5 or maybe 5.5 volts or the same as a USB port on a computer.

Thanks Spade, but I am looking for the max voltage the power jack will take, or if not known can it take the voltage of 2 Li-ion's in series when fully charged (8.3V).
