i filled my last deer tag with a nice fat doe, the deer was walking at about 100yds or so. one shot from my rem 7600 pump in 3006 thru the lungs ended it,she ran about 30yds. now i can get back to trapping,i got a few fox and bandits so far,no yots yet. eastbank.

Congrats again. You just got a buck iirc.
I just got my first doz traps and im gonna start monday morning.

Deer population is so low here this year that i dont think ill shoot anything but a very mature buck. Im sitting in the woods with my Hawken rifle right now.

Thanks for the pics...makes me wish we got snow here more often!

Great looking doe, I'm getting hungry just looking at the pics.

I used to have one of those Remington pump guns in .270. Scary accurate. My brother-in-law had the same in the carbine model in 30-06. Believe me, NOBODY in the woods had to ask "who fired that shot?"!
