The newest cartridge I am getting ready to start loading is a 260 Remington in a T/C, 24" Bullberry custom Barrel.

7mm-08 for my son's custom rifle. It's the culmination of a 13 year project.

The last cartridge I've set up for is 350 Legend, got a bunch of 147gr XTP blems from Midway.

Been playing with 9mm lately, trying to find a reliable "pooch" load with N320/124's. It's almost the time of winter that I start loading .223 "blammo ammo" for the summer as well.

Same three I've been loading since the fifties: 357, 44, and 12 ga. Huge difference in the quality and variety of components then and now.
Powder then, about $1.50/pound. Bullets, cast, maybe gas checked. Dies, steel. Shotgun wads, card and fiber.
More fun and easier to get best accuracy and shotgun patterns now but harder to find what you need/want.
    Tradeoffs.

38 Short Colt. I cut a few 38 spl cases down yesterday to see if I could load it with 38 spl and 9mm dies. Looks like I can. I haven't actually shot any yet and I don't know what load will work best but I'm almost there. I ordered some Starline brass yesterday because cutting cases with a trimmer is no fun. Looks like a 9mm cartridge for a revolver without the moon clips.

I've always liked experimenting with obsolete cartridges and shot shells. I used to load 2 1/2'' shells for a British double.

Also been doing a few 38 S&W. Nephew got an old top break IJ and I've got late brother's Smith. Found 200 new Starlines. Now, bullets.

I had been working on the Sako 7mm-08 and found that it liked 40.8gr. of IMR4064 under a Hornady 139gr. Interlock flat base. After being in the rain durning my hunting vacation I decided to pull the stock, do a thorough cleaning and oiling when I discovered that the action was not bedded in the stock as I had originally thought. So now the rifle is going to NECG to get bedded and I will see how the load performs. I am hoping it will shoot better than the 3/4"+ groups I was getting at 100 yds.

To Mavracer; what is your powder load for the .350 Legend? There is next to no load info for this relatively new caliber, at least none that I have seen. Thanks for your help.

To get an H&R action for a 44Mag barrel I had, I bought a kinda rusty/grody beat up .243 Winchester H&R Handi Rifle at a small pawn shop in a small Mississippi town. Still later, wound up buying new/used laminated stock and forend off Ebay. Everythings working fine. One day bored, I put the .243 barrel in my vice and started scrubbing to see what lies below all that crude. Got the rust of the barrel and after a couple hundred strokes w/brushes and patches the bore came out bright. Soooooo....bought a Lee Die set w/FC, Shell Holder, even another dipper!. 75grain Hornady V-Tips 35 grains of Varget, got 2995fps and 1MOA Jeeez.... my new Fav.

On a 9mm kick for now. Loading up a solid plinking stash. Then going to switch to .308, I have a moose hunt coming up Sept 2023 and will spend quite a bit of time shooting my rifle at 300+ yards this spring and summer.. so, I’ll need a solid stash of the loads I’ll be using in September.

Not the latest cartridge, as it has been around for a while.
    45 acp.

After that it will be 357 magnum and 44 Rem magnum.

These three get shot the most...

Those last two have been around for while too. ;)

    .380 FMJ rounds.

I haven't shot a lot of .380 in the past two years, but a new Sig 365 in .380 came my way recently.

.308 Win target loads. I already did all the brass prep, so now all I'm doing is the fun part. Powder, seat, crimp, repeat.

In order of release id guess 460 Smith or 5.7x28 are my latest. As far as what I've got into latest would be 243 since I picked one up for my daughter, and before that 223 since I started loading for my varmint guns when loaded vmaxs broke 10 dollars a box
