Some would have it that JPFO is "over the top", way over the top. Perhaps they are, however respecting JPFO's output, and the antics of the ATF, I believe I prefer JPFO, notwithstanding the fact that it's The Congress that legislates. Of course, the minions of BATFE have taken some bad legislation and made it very much worse. JPFO's release follows.

JPFO ALERT: Red's Trading Post to Show The Gang

In conjunction with Red's Trading Post, JPFO will be
premiering our newest documentary _The Gang_ in Red's home
town of Twin Falls, Idaho. A movie many don't want you to
see, _The Gang_ exposes the abuses of the BATFE, from
entrapment to racial discrimination to institutional
perjury.

This will be shown FREE OF CHARGE and Red's Trading Post
will also be raffling off a Ruger 10/22 Rifle and other
prizes to those who attend. Members of the press are
expected to attend the showing as well.

We've been keeping our readers abreast of the trials Red's
has suffered under the BATFE. Targeted by the agency who
exaggerated minor paperwork errors while hiding other
relevant information in an effort to shut down the
business, Red's recently won an injunction to keep their
business running ( www.jpfo.org/alert20070503.htm ). After
telling his story on our "Talkin' to America" program
(www.jpfo.org/talkamerica.htm ), owner Ryan Horsley was
audited the next day by ATF agents, including an area
supervisor. Said the agents, "We'll do this again and again
and again..." (www.jpfo.org/redsupdate2.htm )

Yes, the BATFE is impressed with itself, no doubt. Take a
peek at this Amended Declaration ( www.jpfo.org/redsdec.pdf
). Part of the suit Red's filed in an effort to save the
business, this declaration is the sworn statement of BATFE
agent Richard Van Loan. In Section 7, he references the
phrase "...when justice so requires." This isn't the first
time Agent Van Loan has said that. In fact, according to
Horsley, Agent Van Loan has stipulated several times that
he has ultimate authority "when justice so requires".

Justice ... or revenge?

Ryan's still fighting back. In addition to the coverage
JPFO has provided on this outrageous case, Red's has taken
out ads in both radio and print to publicize their plight,
and numerous articles are being written in their local
papers. Red's will also begin blogging their experiences at

invited to appear on the area's biggest talk show. Writer
David Codrea even mentioned the case in his "War on Guns"

In Ryan Horsley's words, "I was left speechless after
watching The Gang. Having been a target of the BATFE
ourselves, the other stories of abuse were eerily similar.

against the BATFE. If they cannot win in court then they

If you hear something about the BATFE or the Chicago Police Department that's SO bad that it's hard to believe, the odds are that it was UNDERstated.

The BATFE is profoundly corrupt and utterly irredeemable.

The problem with the BATFE is they are "infringing" upon my right as an individual to bear arms and they are using my tax dollars to do it.

I do everything I can to badmouth them [with documented facts] to everybody I know.

There's an old lefty who shares office space with us. I've made an extra-special point to be sure that he's heard of the "Good Old Boy's Roundup" and every other verifiable piece of racist dirt about them I can think of. He may still want to ban guns, but he's no friend of the BATFE. I do this with anybody to whom I'm talking if they somehow come up in conversation. My best friend here is a lawyer. I've gotten him so informed about them that when they try to play mind games with him about clients, he actually laughs in their faces. I've made EXTRA sure that he knows their Brady history regarding institutionally mandated perjury. He doesn't believe their NAMES now without proof.

When they'd appear on local radio talk shows, I'd call in to slam them when they lied to the audience. Strangely, I've NEVER heard another BATF(E) agent take audience questions on a local Cleveland talk show for YEARS!

I'm poisoning their reputation, one mind at a time...
