lead bullets too big - what to do?

The bullets in question measure .402".

If you know for a fact that your bore is .401, then the bullets are just right. However if it is a bit tighter than that, you might look into picking up one of the Lee .401 sizer kits and run them through for good measure.

Chances are your KKM barrel has .400" groove diameter and if that's the case, then .401" sized lead bullets will work better and the finished rounds may even pass the barrel drop test without the use of FCD.
 
Thanks for the Lee Size Kit suggestion, but Midway wants to charge me a Hazmat fee, presumably because of the lube. I'll check my LGS to see if they have it in stock.
 
Hopefully the LGS will have it, most places on line are out.
I have not found any evidence indicating they would have to add a 27.50 hazmat fee though. I did see Midway added a 3.00 charge for a minimum order fee or something.
