Lee Loadmaster caliber change help

Hi
I want to change from large to small primer .
Wanted to make sure with you folks I don't forget to order something .
Is this all I will need ?

1. primer trough
2. primer slider
3. primer pin
4. shellplate
5. turret

To change the primer feed system just order the Lee small primer set. It comes with all the parts from the primer tray to the trough and slider, small primer punch and return spring, slider actuator arm, etc., all fully assembled and ready to put into the press. It's not very expensive (about $18 at Midway), is probably cheaper than buying all the parts separately, and makes changing primer size about a 1 minute operation. (The toughest part for me is always figuring out how they got all those parts into the red box they come in.) And you don't want to be taking the trough apart any more than necessary - it takes some bending to get it back together, and I broke a locking lug once trying to do that.

To change calibers you will need the appropriately populated turret, the appropriate shell plate, and if you're going to a small case (like 9mm, for example) a change to the small case feeder and case pusher. If you're going from 45ACP (large) to 40 S&W (small) you can stick with the large case feeder, same if you're going to 38/357 with their large rims (you may have to adjust the height of the case feeder tubes to fit the new case size.)

I can only add spray the inside of the new primer feeder with brake parts cleaner to remove any mould lubricant left on the plastic parts. Then use a tooth brush on the exsposed parts of the press around the primer feeder to dislodge any stray powder granules/dirt and blow it out with a can of compressed air before installing the other primer feeder. To keep ahead of the game tilt the primer feeder upside down to allow the primers to flow back into the tray. Remove the tray and then blow the inside of the primer feeder out with canned air before putting it back togeather then in a zip lock baggie to keep the dust off it while not in use.

You have already gotten great advise and I really don't have anything to add. It's really the same thing, but here is the statement from Lee's FAQ on the subject.

Load Master caliber switch

To switch the Load Master from one caliber to another, consider the following:

Appropriate shell plate which runs $29.98
Appropriate case feeder if applicable which runs $25 (Large for .38 Special and larger)
Appropriate primer assembly if applicable, which runs $24.98
Appropriate set of dies which runs $29.98
Turret (optional) which runs $14.98

If the desire is to load the 40 S&W, it is necessary to have the large case feeders but the small case slider. This is very uncommon but is necessary with this caliber.

If the desire is to load the 454Casull, the same configuration is used as for the 45 Colt, however the priming assembly must be for small priming instead of large.

The 50 AE can be loaded however, the case feeder cannot be used as even the large size is too small. It is also necessary to lube the cases as the dies are steel.

I didn''t know it came as a set I was going to buy the pieces seperately .

It's even nicer when you live closer. If I get my order in by 4PM it's in the local UPS depot by midnight and on my doorstep the next day They make it SO easy to spend money with them . . .
