I have a Savage 110 with an Adams & Bennet heavy contour .308 barrel with a 1 in 10" twist. Can anyone recommend a Lee mould for this barrel that I can load and expect decent results? This would be for plinking and low cost WTSHTF storage rounds since it seems impossible to find the 147 grain surplus FMJ for a good price these days.

Load data to go with the mould would be appreciated.

I've not heard of any .308's using anything that wasn't jacketed. It's a good idea if you can find the load data, let me know!

Lee modern reloading II lists .308 win loads with lead bullets in the 150, 165, and 180gr variety. Lyman 48th ed. lists 115, 160, 170, 173, 180, 190, and 200gr lead loads. Lee sells .308 molds in the 113grFN, 120grRN, 150grFN, 160grRN, 170grFN, 180grRN, and 200grRN type. all with a gas check. for a 1:10 i would recomend you stick with 170gr and up.
