How well does this measure handle powders like H4350 and H4895, especially with the double disk kit? I believe I have seen some complaints. If there are problems, how serious are they?

Thank you

does just fine for me. just be sure to stack your disks properly (largest disk on bottom).

Just like evan, I find that it cuts some granules. That annoys me, but it isn't the end of the world. 3031 is one of the most difficult. Along with 4831, 4350 and the 4064 evan mentioned. In fact, 4895 granules look small compared to those chunks of powder. I do get a little extra variance in the Pro Auto Disk with the four large grained powders I mentioned, which bugs me if I'm trying to work up a special load but doesn't bug me for practice range ammo.

I truly prefer the rotating drum powder measure for large grained powder. That would be your Perfect Powder Measure for Lee presses, or the equivalent from all the other manufacturers.

The IMR powders: 3031, 4064 and 4350 I have didn't work well in Auto-Disk or Lee PPM. Varget, H110, RE 19, RE 22, Power Pistol and W231 work well in both. Varget and the RE powders require a little tapping.

I dip and trickle the IMR stuff.
