I have a new (my first) Leupold VX-3i scope on order. I'm really looking forward to using it.

Can anyone tell me what, if any, lens cover(s) are included with new Leupold scopes? I would've thunk I could figure it out with some Googling.....but I've haven't been successful.

I'm liking those (neoprene) covers Leupold has that covers the entire scope. Any experiences with those - good, bad or indifferent?

Thanks.

It could be either way. I bought a VX-R FireDot for an AR just a couple of weeks ago. It came with nothing. Not even the rubber or neoprene cover. I asked the dealer about it and they checked all the Leupold boxes they had... none of them had any kind of covers.

As a note - even the Mark 4 that I paid a lot of money for only came with kind of a lame rubber setup. I generally put out the $$ and buy the Leupold Aluma covers... very nice, but pricey.

As a follow-up - and in case anyone is stumbling on this thread.......

The VX-3i came with a full neoprene cover. 20161119_182010.jpg
