I went to a local gun store the other day to pick up a beat up Beretta on the cheap for a refinishing project. As I was about to fill out the paper work on the 92 I noticed a Ruger Security-Six stainless for $275. I passing, I asked"how much for the Ruger if I get it and the Beretta". Without batting an eye he said "$500 for both" Thats $300 for the 92 and $200 for the Ruger!!!. It was a little rough, but some scotchbrite and elbow grease took care of that.
Dont know what I'm going to do with it but I feel like that was a hell of a deal.

    Thats a keeper

You got a better gun for 200 than you did for 300. That will last your lifetime and several other peoples with normal use. I would not let it go, you will regret it if you do. Shoot it and you will see what I mean.

The Six series of Rugers are the best revolvers Ruger has ever made, or will make.

    its a .357...and shoots like a dream
The trigger isnt near as smooth as my Smiths, but it handles recoil much better. magnums in it feel like .38 +p's in a comperable Smith.

Only Service and Speed can be 38Spcl and 357. All Security Sixs are 357.

Wow! just when I was feeling good about the S&W model 10, I picked up for $220.

I love my GP100, but I think the six series looks better, in addition to being a little smoother.

    Great find! :)

Both were good buys and both are great guns. Both actually comprise a good battery!
