I am considering plunking down some coin on a nice, tall safe. I'd really like to see photos of people's fancy (or even not-so-fancy) gun safes. Outside pics are great, and inside if you have a set-up worth showing.

For the purposes of this discussion, we'll includes the much maligned RSCs in this post. Let's see those Liberty safes!

I don't have a pic of my safe that is is my garage at 225 Sylmar lane, Hytown, NC....but my combination is 23-54-29...though for security reasons, I'm not saying whether you turn it left or right to start!:neener:

How is your security compromised by post a photo of your safe? Is the combination printed on a sticker on it? Do you think that if you crop it wrong I will be able to see a clip of carpet color, track down the make, and figure out where the safe is? I am all for security, but I think you can post a carefully framed picture and be prudent about your security while still contributing to the thread. Or maybe I should take down the photos of my nice revolvers, too. Someone might hop on a plane to come steal it. Geez.

I see nothing wrong with posting a pic of ones safe. Some feel that if they post a pic someone is setting them up or something. I just do not see it that way. Hopefully get a new camera for Christmas and can post more pics. I like many others enjoy seeing them

I would post a picture of my Safe if I had a digital picture of it. I would not post a picture of the contents though. I have people ask me all the time..."can I see your gun collection in your safes?". The answer is always NO, Sorry. My father and father-in-law are the only ones that get to see what's inside all at once.

Don't worry about fancy, just buy the biggest you can afford. This is the little one.

This is the bigger one. They're both American Security, fire rated.

OK, I'll play along since I never leave the house anyway.

Thanks so far to those who posted. I really just wanted to see some set-ups (and maybe drool over the cabinets with tons of square butts sticking out).

To the guy who won't even show his friends his gun collection: If you're that worried about your friends, maybe you need some new friends.

This is one of the big Liberty (colonial Series) safes. I got the biggest they had so I could expand, but now I need another one.

Whatever you do, get the biggest you can afford.

Remember, bigger is better!

Rangegod that is one IMPRESSIVE collection. Most gun shops in the area don't have the inventory you do. I also seem to recall having that same carpet in my living room at one time :)

vey nice collections fellas, im impressed!! well anyways im in the same boat as sjshooter. im lookin to get me my first safe as my small collection blossums(6 smiths,2 h&k's,nm SA m14, and yes its a real m14 not an m1a.selecter tack welded as to prevent use . i rent from governmeant through a program <conventional highpower >and a cmp garand on the way.oh and my trusty 1187 12 ga <fer squirrels an such>

Wow! Rangegod, you are the kind of neighbor I would want if society ever broke down in my neighborhood! That or zombies, or aliens, ect. would take over! :what:

BUT.....how many of those don't get to see any use for years? That is quite the collection. Must have taken quite some time to build it up such a nice collection.

bill (feels like he has no need for a safe compared to some of the members here!)

LOL it must be nice having guns delivered right to your doorstep. I guess if you were a FFL holder that would work.

Have modified this several times...adding shelves, lighting, and door storage. (National Security Magnum Plus)
