Let's see the .22 rifles that make you smile

I have a standing offer with my wife. When we're at a gun store, she can buy any gun she wants, price is no object. She took me up on it once and got the 2nd cheapest gun at Sportco in Fife WA. I added a large scope (she can't bother with a spotting scope), bipod, and silencer (she hates noise). It gets a few second glances at the range.

Is it just me, or does it look to others that the rear scope mount of the 452 Trainer look like it's leaning backwards a little?

Reading this and looking myself gave me quite a start; enough so to dig through the safes. After scrutinizing it appears to have been a trick of the iPhone camera.

This one maybe makes me smile the most ... please excuse the video, its one of the first I've ever made ... its a CMMG upper and full-auto kit and was having lots of issues early on and the video was for them.

This is kind of an old picture, the AK-22 is gone And the pink one started out as my daughters but a couple grand daughters have started on it since. Several have been added since this was taken, but I rarely ever sell a 22 :)

what scope is the Marlin? Thinking getting a scope for Marlin 60 is why I ask
Old Bushnell.....Sportview I think. 1.5-5x32 shotgun scope. I put a Leupold VX-F 2-7x32 on there afterwards for a while, and any liked that combo a bit better.

My newest .22 rifle is now my favorite .22 rifle... a stainless 10/22 International. :)

It’s not the most pinhole-group accurate .22 made, nor does it have a takedown feature for a backpacking or survival kit tool, but to me it’s the most eye-appealing semi auto .22 out there (Not too far ahead of the svelte Browning autos!).

Stay safe.

On the pink rifle at the top of the picture, the red dot sight placement is questionable considering this is a youth rifle. I youth’s small head would mean there wouldn’t be a cheek weld at all, perhaps not even a chin weld. Does your daughter struggle with this rifle?

Well, after going through this entire thread, so far, there's been a lot to "smile" about. My first .22 rifle came along when I was 10 years old in the form of a Winchester Model 67A:

It now sports a scope and helps me verify .22 Long Rifle velocities over my chronograph with its 27-inch barrel.
My CZ 455 FS is surprisingly accurate and a grand companion for sitting against a huge oak tree out back for a "squirrel, with gravy and dumplings" iron skillet dinner:

The Ruger 77/22 in .22 Long Rifle caliber has put a mess of cotton tails in the dutch oven during gun deer season, along with several brewskies after a long cold day in the deer woods:

The CZ 457 LUX and the Savage Mark II BV are still trying to decide what they like for a diet, but that's more fun to test than anybody should be allowed to have with their clothes still on:

Those older .22s warm the heart and please the soul.

Here's another .22 that usually gets a few smiles. It began life as a M-52 Winchester, but was somewhat upgraded by some creative metal work plus elegant stockwork by the late Dale Goens.
It's really no wonder she gets a few smiles. She's gorgeous.
