Seeing as my XDS is at Springfield for the next 1-3 months, I've been carrying this instead until I get another .45

I don't have a set EDC for all occasions but there are some constants. On my keyring I keep a Fenix E01 and a Spyderco Ladybug3 in ZDP-189. So at a minimum I have a very good knife and a serviceable light that's bright enough for most tasks and 100% reliable. Beyond that I also always have my Galaxy S4 on my along with my wallet.

I can't carry a firearm at work, both due to policy and the fact that it would be pretty impractical to wear one with chef pants in a commercial kitchen! But when out and about I am always armed. When I have to be very discrete I carry a Beretta Nano in a Garrett Silent Thunder IWB. I keep a spare mag on the weak side in an SHTFGear Horizontal Mag Pouch.

Most of the time I will carry a bit more gun. For general CCW I alternate between an HK USPf9 and an HK P30S. In both cases I carry Condition One in a Silent Thunder IWB. A spare mag will be weak side in either a Garrett K1 or a Safariland 123. No matter the sidearm, if it's a 9mm I will have it loaded with 147gr Federal HST ammo.

On a couple occasions I will actually be carrying my HK USP45 Tactical. Mostly this is for my nightly walk or for hiking/camping. In that case I CCW in a Hill People Gear Kit Bag and keep a spare mag in the front pouch. Ammo is 230gr Federal HST. The Kit Bag has sufficient room that I will keep my phone, a flashlight and a "serious" folder in there, too, usually a Spyderco Delica or Native.

Most of the time I will have a more potent light to augment my little Fenix. That will generally be a Surefire E1B if I'm heading out when it's already dark, otherwise it will probably be a Streamlight Microstream.
