Can Ottawa tell us who owns the gun?

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The initial report of the shooting at the Toronto Eaton Centre reads: "Police confirm the alleged shooter is at large but say they recovered a weapon at the scene."

Well then, I guess all that's needed is to go to the recently established gun registry and find the person who owns the gun. Isn't that simple?

Only, I have a sneaking suspicion this fellow didn't bother to inform Ottawa that he was the legal owner of this weapon. Another $2 billion wasted by the feel-good anti-gun gurus in Ottawa.
