I like to keep letters to elected officials "short and sweet" (that way they get read). Hand sign your name.

If "hunting" is included in your letter....fine, but don't make that the focus.

The 2nd amendment (RKBA) has absolutely nothing to do with hunting.

I applaud each and every person that has made an effort to write their officals... however. Good on ya! :)

    Flint.

Write, write, write. It is our obligation. It matters not if they read them or not, if you don't send them they will hold that against you. Don't think for a second they will accept "well, I would have written if I thought you would've read it."
I write my Governor and State reps in both houses weekly. Everyone one of them tells me to keep writing! And encourage others to do them same, it's a numbers game folks and we have been silent for far to long.

On his campaign Obama promised jobs, tax reductions, and mortgage help to name a few. Has he taken action on these pleges? No, and do you think he cares about what is in the letters? NO!!!! The wants of America are not on his agenda.....I have worked within local and state governments and very few letters are ever read and if some are the infomation is seldom passed on to the elected official. I think the only way a letter writing campaign would get an elected officials attention would be if 100's or 1,000's would arrive at his PO box at the same day and time.
Obama did take action on one of his campaign pleges, a tax reduction, but guess what, he raised everyones taxes unless you are on welfare.

I think the best letter has already been sent.

That is to say that the gun and ammo purchases have
hopefully sent the perfect message to the Commander in Chief.
