Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T

Has anyone tried a Mark 4 CQ/T on their AR-15? I am interested in getting one to put on my Armalite. Pros or Cons? My rifle is a carbine with 16" barrel. I am not looking for a long range scope, only close to medium range. Any input or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

I bought one when they first came out. I mail ordered it, and I was shocked how big the thing was when it arrived. I had it on a 16" flattop AR15. I liked the concept of the low magnification with the illuminated circle and dot, and the higher 3x magnification. I just couldn't get used to the large size. It would be even worse on a carry handle mount. Watch-Six

Thanks for the info. Yes, I am aware of the size. A local gun shop has one that they let me look at. Pretty neat. My Armalite is also a flattop. It kind of sucks that it doesn't come with the flattop mount though. I couldn't really picture mounting that thing on a carry handle. How did it function for you? I am looking to shoot at targets from 100 - 200yds. I use the rifle mostly for plinking. No real precision target shooting, just looking for a replacement for the iron sights. I don't especially like the short sight radius on the carbine. I am just looking for quicker target acquisition. Thanks for responding!
