(I meant 30/30s on the title)
I took a couple of my open sight 30/30s out yesterday. I had forgotten how much fun those rifles are. I got fairly good at quick, open sight snapshots from using a Daisy Red-Ryder BB rifle to knock down swallow nests from under the eaves year after year. Weird how that kind of repeated snap shooting with a BB rifle translates to a lever action 30/30.
Fun rifles, anyway.
