Isn’t an animals instinct to survive?

Sounds like marketing, it I were trying to sell to that crowd I would have gone with “zombie slayer”, “apocalypse ender” or evening something more mundane like “Hog Destroyer”...

I suppose “Animal Instinct” still has a better ring to it than “California Compliant”.

Yeah but it's supposed to be a good round. I know their civil defense handgun ammo is something many use. And it's reliable for sure. But have never shot their hunting ammo.

It's supposed to have a 1in moa at 500 yrds

I would never buy any. At this point in my hunting life I have come to value heavy for caliber bullets over "ludicrous speed" bullets. I also have come to believe there is no such thing as a projectile that can "drop animals on the spot, to prevent you from having to chase them for miles." That is both impossible every time, and hyperbole at the same time. Makes me very suspicious when someone tells me a whopper as part of the sales pitch.

Can’t find much information about them, even just a G1 BC. Did find this.

Shows an ES of 47 FPS in just a sample of 5, using a .576 BC that’s about a 2 inch difference at 500 yards even if the rifle could have put them in the exact same hole had they been going the same speed.

They only got 3290 fps in the test and there is no way that 100 gr bullet has a BC of .576. The closest thing that I can find is a 110 gr Barnes bullet with a BC of .166. Using those numbers a 30-30 has more energy at 100 yards and at 500 yards the bullet drop is almost double what I get with 155 gr Scenar's from my 30-06. My 155's are also impacting at almost twice the speed at 500 yards. The slightest breeze will blow them all over the place.

IMO they will probably produce a nasty wound and put deer down very fast at relatively close range. Say under 100 yards. But they are not a good all around option. And if you want to shoot at 500 yards or longer you need heavier bullets with much better BC's. Not lighter bullets.

This just continues Liberty’s ridiculousness. I already don’t trust their pistol ammo or their “velocity over everything” stance on manufacturing ammunition. The outlandish claims in that poorly written ad don’t do anything to convince me to try this stuff either.

Why? Seems to me it would be similar to shooting a .357 diameter washer at stuff.

Yeah, if one can believe the hype, a 2100 FPS washer that has the accuracy of < 1” @ 25 Meters and has explosive expansion in soft tissue. Regardless of the hype, it would be fun to try some just for ships and giggles. But at a buck and a half a pop, I ain't in any rush.

Perfect for the invasive raccoons that come outta my neighbors silage pit to test! But yeah....not rushing!

WOW!!! Only $64.95 for twenty rounds. A 100 grain .30 caliber bullet with the BC of a hard thrown rock. Another catchy phrase designed to separate one from his/her hard earned money.

Save money: Make your very own Deer Devastator or Hog Eliminator rounds for 50 cents per round. .
