Light rail on L frame smith 686 4"

Does any body know if laserlyte rail made for a j frame smith will fit on the lower lug of my 686+ with a 4 inch barrel. It looks as though it may because of the way it mounts to the ejector rod on the j frame. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
