I know they aren't sexy, but a good light that you can use while shooting is hard to find. I found a super bright light that takes AA batteries for under $40.

Who says lights arent sexy... I consider it a must for all Home defense applications.

I'm always wary of brands I haven't heard of though, for that price I could get a Surefire G2, (2 of them if I catch it on sale again).

Features are nice, but I prefer reliability. If that light can stand up to torture, I'll give it a shot, but I like proven things over new.

(If it sounds like I'm biased... I am, Surefire worked through bomb-blasts, and kept me alive on an IED sweep when our thousand dollar Nighthunter lights didnt work)
