Hi...
Been discussing the issue of guns and gun rights with my son... Tonight we were talking about how people who have no, or only negative, exposure to firearms can have such a biased opinion about them.
It reminded me of a video I saw on here a while ago which I'm hoping someone will remember and be able to link. In the video, a very well-spoken gun rights advocate was speaking with a TV interviewer. At one point, the advocate made a statement about concealed carry and the interviewer, suddenly uncomfortable, pressed the interviewee re: whether he was, in fact, carrying at that point. It did a good job of highlighting irrational fear and I thought it would be a good illustration to discuss and might be fruitful in some other conversations now that the furor is kicking back up over firearm regulation/restriction.
