All I have is "an official, Red Ryder, Carbine-action, 200-Shot, Range Model, Air Rifle", I swear!! Really! :D and I haven't shot my eye out!! OK, I have a Ruger MkII as well.

Time to issue a new batch of tin hats. Beyond popular belief, the average THR member is not a high priority on the ATF spying/entrapment list.

If they were so inclined, they would know you have firearms. Ever bought a gun from a FFL? Ever join a progun group like NRA/GOA/SAF? Subscribe to any gun magazines? Have a CCW? Have NFA weapons or C&R license? Ever wrote to your elected officials or the local newspaper? Buy ammo and have it shipped to your home? Ever go to a public range? Order gun parts over the internet? Buy gun and/or gun related products with your credit card? Walk around a gunshow?

If they decide to kick down your door in the middle of the night, they could care less if they have a list of your guns and serial numbers beforehand.

remington 11/87
Ruger:
Mk2
10/22
vaquero
single six
winchester 94/22
beretta 92
marlin 94

If anyone comes kicking down my door without prior notice they'll find themselves on the wrong end of the first gun mentioned.

Oh - this pains me. I don't have any. :banghead: You guys have got guns up the patoot(I'm sure, if somehow, the U.S military lost all their guns-you guys could provide them five times over)...I have...a...cap gun. Isn't that exciting? :(

tricia_s37,
so sad. How about I take up a collection and send you enough money to buy one of those Norinco 1911's that can be had in Canada for a song (whilst outlawed from importation here)? :D They're pretty fine shooting 45's IMO. I do have one.

And several others (of differing makes models and calibers, FWIW).

I think the present total is some 5 dozen, split between handguns and long guns, mostly 9mm and .22 in handguns and .22's and old milsurp bolt actions types in the long guns.

Only 4 smoothbores.

Darned things need feeding constantly. And that's a good thing right?

Adios

That makes 59, or 63 if you count accessory barrels for the 1911 as seperate guns, which I personally do, as they are drastically different from one another in shooting characteristics.

That's 42 calibers, 43 if you count the Steyr-hahn's ability to still digest 9mm Steyr. Hmmm, I think I need to diversify a little more. Lessee, .454 Casull, .22 Hornet, .218 Bee, .250-3000, .264 Win. Mag., .225 Winchester, .38-55, .40-90, 7 x 57, .338 Win. Mag., .404 Jeffrey, 8mm Mauser, .425 Westley-Richards, .375 H&H, etc., etc....

And maybe take up handloading. Costs a lot to feed the family. ;)

And NO, I do not have a desire to own a .223, or any of those goofy Ultra-Shortaction-Whizbang-Pleasebuyanewgun contrivances that the big manufacturers are churning out lately. I have too many old calibers to catch up on.

.223's a pistol round anyhow. So there. :p

The only reason I can do this is the pre-existing list made it easy, otherwise it's too much typing. Lets me spout an opinion or two also.

Edit: Forty-FOUR calibers. That archaic Mk. I Webley'll still run .455's, but NOT fullmoon clips, believe it or else. Hah! (Like that's some sort of achievement for a damnfool like myself who doesn't reload. )

A couple of super soakers. A few potato cannons (in various states of disrepair), a soldering gun, a few electron guns...
