Does anyone know of a place to find a new plunger tube for an ix-d? I have had no luck, and now I am considering surgery on the pistol in order to make it accommodate a standard plunger tube.

I checked the usual parts suppliers but turned up nothing. Very little out there in parts though I did come across a number of slide assemblies for sale. Maybe try looking on some of the online auction sites and make the rounds of the local gun shows. Other than that see if you can find a gunsmith who could adapt a 1911 plunger tube to your Llama. Let us know how things work out.

I didn't initially recognize that model, and I have been trolling gunbroker for a long time to replace one that I essentially gave to my dad. That's a mighty fine looking setup, I hope it looks as good as the ones online, and I truly hope it runs as well as it looks.

I'm glad I can help!
Maybe another member here will also find this thread and get his Llama fixed.
Anyone who has a Llama with a plastic assembly should check out these steel ones. Big difference. Large frame only.
The regular, single stack, Llamas take a different part they also sell.
That's what It's all about.
