I have a couple of G19's 3rd generation and I am thinking of selling or trading one to get another Ruger wheel gun. The one I will be selling or trading has less than a 100 rounds through it and flawless with box, hi-caps, and all papers, What would be a good asking price for it?

BTW I gave $520.00 for it a few months ago.

Agreed. $425 would be a fair and good price. NIB can be had day in and day out for $450. Many retailers sell them for $499-$550.

$425 sounds about right. Price it at $450 and work down from there. There's a dealer at local gunshows that prices his NIB G19s at $440. This is not his LEO price.

Thanks I will probably just keep it instead of taking that much loss and will just buy a sp101 outright.

Glock 19: The perfect carry pistol

No point is selling such a great pistol. I bet you are going to want it later. Just pack it away. It will be a great surprise one of these days.

You just about have to be a dealer or buy used to get your money back out of a gun. Even then, most people can get their money out of a used gun b/c they wanted it too much and therefore paid too much to start with. I hate selling guns. I always regret it and the money I get out of them isn't substantial.

In WA:
Trade = $250-$325 (depends on prices of dealer's retail guns)
FTF = $400-$425
Retail = $500-$550

i hate selling guns too and i have vowed that i won't anymore.

however i think that $425 is fair enough. i would give you that for it.
