So, I found out the hard way how hard this data is to come by. I'm guessing at least one of you has been in the same boat and managed to paddle your way to shore.
How do you load your 45 ACP 185 gr hollow point PLATED bullets?

My Rainers shot very well with a dose of Hodgdon Clays. Load to lead data:)

Been awhile since I loaded plated:eek: Back when plated was a bargin, I loaded many a thousand 230gr bullets. Now a days, I stick with fmj, being cheaper and all:)

I miss the days when plated bullets were a bit more than lead, and nowhere close to jacketed prices.

Thanks for reposting the link you reposted to the other thread I started. :scrutiny: There is a reason I asked again. I am asking for 185 grain HOLLOW POINT LOADS and that load data sheet doesn't have anything for the hollow point bullets. Yes, there is a difference between hollow point and flat point.

I've heard "load like lead." Who has load data for lead hollow points? A reloading manual with a pile of lead bullet load date is definitely something I'd be interested in picking up.

Doesn't matter. Find one the right weight and basic shape. I'll not bother you with any more "reposting". AC
