Load up all your handguns! How many rounds ready to go?

Going with what I'd expect for the rules:

372 (assuming I'm not missing one or a few from the count, which is where the smart money would be)
68 of that are BP

If I were allowed to count each Contender barrel separately, instead of just what's on frames, the total would go up a mite. Ditto for caliber conversion kits for autoloaders or conversion cylinders for revolvers...

Fun thread.

Two years or so ago my count would have bin a bit higher, but I sold a few of my less sentimental handguns to upgrade my long-gun department.

Playing by the OP rules my current # is 91 shots

19 are black powder guns, three six-shooters and a single-shot

12 - .22lr

8- .32acp

16- 9mm

6- .38spl/.357 mag

6- .45lc

18- .45acp

6- .44mag

hmmm, I could carry a good amount of 'em on me but I think I need a mule for at least 4 or 5 of these, especially the 1847 Walker :D

Handguns only - one mag each +1, 94. With extra mags = 246.

Jim

I don't think 33 rounders are factory mags. (LOL)

wow - I thought I'd be up there with 73.
Some of you guys put me to shame.

But that's what fits in the gun, not counting extra mags or speedloaders.
It seem like some of you are counting rounds in extra mags.

Not here if I counted extra mags, speed loaders and moon clips the # is much higher.
I have over 100 moon clips alone

172. Doing this exercise I'm surprised at the number of semi-auto's I have that only hold 5 or 6 rounds. Discussing the reason and value of that would make a good thread in itself.

Not a bit on mine, can't speak for anyone else. My comment about barrels and conversion units and such was just sour grapes, much like the guys that have complaints about NOT being able to count what's in all their spare high-cap magazines.

Oh, my count went up by another 7 the day before yesterday: traded an "11" for a "18" (and it came with a .22 conversion slide/etc, to boot).

This could take a while...

145 if I use only standard cap magazines and load them only once.

I only had to count 2 black powder revolvers.

Never ask me to do this by loading every possible mag and speed loader. Or rifle mags.

Are we counting 'collectible' handguns, i.e. guns that were not bought primarily to shoot as well?

If so, I'll do a round count after getting them unloaded from the boat this afternoon.

There are more but I am tired. Typing on this tablet stinks!
Add them up, what for 22, what for revolver, what for semi-auto?

A bunch, bunch and a half, maybe two bunches. Too much like higher math to do the math. I cant even count up the number of handguns.
