I'm from the Quincy/Braintree area and currently I go to a 100yrd range but are there any longer distance ranges that are relatively close and if so, what are your experiences with them? Thanks

I don't know if you want to go this far... I belong to the Copicut Rifle Association just west of New Bedford, north of 195. 100, 200, 300 yd. ranges and a pistol range. Very basic range with reasonable fees, you get your own key to the gate. On weekends in the good weather they do a lot of military rifle shoots and competitions. Other times, you often have the place to yourself.
    Very good guys.
