Long Range Rifle/Scope/PRS question(s)

The new Scythe-Ti

Compared to the Banish 30 recoil is less and is straighter back, the B-30 has a bit of a loop to it. I noticed no muzzle blast from the small brake.
They make a bigger one. I'm really happy with the Scythe-Ti, it's going to be nice shooting it in matches. They also make the Scythe-STM
in SS if you want to abuse it.

That’s such a nice rifle. What scope is that?

I shot the Vortex PST Gen II, the Burris XTR III, and the Nightforce F1 ATACR on the Vudoo this morning. No surprise the
Nightforce has the best glass. It's only drawback is the reticle is thinner than I like, it really needs to be at 14X or higher
and I like to start at 8X or 10X, and shoot a lot at 12X to 15X, usually only going higher if there isn't a lot of movement.

The reticle style makes my OCD everything must be even on both sides brain hurt, so it took some getting use to the reticle,
and I really didn't like it at first, but am training my brain to use it. I need to get better/faster at finding targets at higher powers,
as well as using the throw lever/zoom ring more often, getting up to 15X where the reticle is much more usable to me, Jeff too.
It may end up on the Rim-X, where the Tract is now, which I like a great deal. I'm going to shoot that combination this Saturday
at West GA Precision. NRL-22 in the AM, then PRS-22 after that, should be fun, first time to run the Rim-X since getting the
latch release angle/mag/action setup adjusted well. Fingers crossed, but so far it's run great.

We shot NRL-22 first, five stages. I started slow, unsteady on stage 1 for a 7, then a couple of misses, then a mental error on stage 2 for a 7. I was so focused on the near to far large to small, far to near small to large when I went back to the ladder I forgot to change steps, lost two impacts that I made for another 7. Then I cleaned the last three stages. Came in 9th out of 24.

Then we shot PRS-22 (8 stages). I was shooting extremely well until I went down in flames on the last stage. The wind switched from what it had been 95% of the day, I couldn't see trace or misses, and it was a 15 round stage. Dropped 11. The top shooter had 12 more impacts than I did, and I dropped 11 on the last stage. Came in 11th out of 20. Match% was 84.41%

I took top senior by default because the only other senior had to leave in the middle of it. I did shoot well though, so I am happy for the most part. Last stage killed me.

The Rim-X in the Foundation with the Hawkins bottom metal with the modded mag catch so the mags are dead up against the bottom of
the action ran great all day. I ran it with authority, so no slow running the bolt. No hot rodding, but no going slow.

I swapped the Tract out for the Nightforce ATACR 5-25X56 and will shoot that combination at the next .22 match. I chucked it up
in a big vice outside and set up a plumb bob on a rope spray painted black downrange about 25 yards to true the reticle. I love
the Foundation Revelation stock, fits me great, feels great, solid as a rock, not too heavy. Some guys are running 24/25 Lb rifles.

The first time I shot a rifle with a Foundation stock, I knew that I had to have one. They did a good job with their designs.
