For this niche, I went with the Beretta 84F.
I almost would rather have gone with the Browning BDA, as the safety works like my full size Berettas.
But then, I'd want to change the hammer, and want an open top slide, etc.
Even though Beretta makes(made) the Browning BDA, and the safety thing isn't exactly what I wanted, I thought I'd stay with the Beretta line.
I will say that everyone who's ever shot the gun likes it, regardless of their size or gender or experience with firearms.
The gun is extremely reliable, too.
I can't remember ever having a problem with it.
Beretta 84F gets my vote for a .380 pistol.
