Looking for a decent RKBA TV series. Is Shooter any good?

Free Range has Robert Duvall, whom I like as an actor. Kevin Costner not so much. It had accurate gunwork I felt because the gunfights used a lot of lead with few hits in a realistic fashion. The movie is pretty rough at times but only when face to face do the shooters score hits immediately.

Obviously not a series.

Shooter the movie was much better than TV but I stayed with it, noting the changes. Being born and raised in Tacoma let me enjoy the scenery anyway.

I'd say Blacklist is fairly 2A as well. There is a great scene where the FBI Agent says to Red, "You think criminals should be carrying guns?" And he replies, "All the ones I know do."

Love the blacklist, but they did promote the whole "you are more likely to be killed by an intruder with your own gun than successfully defend yourself" thing. Well, against a professional assassin its probably true...

Just started watching "Blue Bloods". Rush L. on his radio said CBS loads up on fair and equal by putting it all into "Blue Bloods". I gave it a try and it is the real deal. Rush said if you voted for President Trump and are a classic conservative, this show is for you. So far, so good. Model_36_flat_latch-1-300x205.jpg

I think I do have it memorized. I have the series, and the "Serenity" movie, on a tablet. It's great for passing time in a doctor's waiting room, or while getting the tires rotated, and suchlike. Been thinking about doing the same with Battlestar Galactica......
.

How are DVDs transferred onto a tablet? Or did you load it another way, or keep streaming the shows? My wife has an 5 or 7-year-old Apple laptop that is the last to be able to burn DVDs with a movie she made with a digital camera.

She made a really cool movie of a kayak being paddled through the canal system in Port Charlotte, FL. With that Apple, it has an adding music function so the parts with no nature sounds have some kind of background music. She only made a few as it is a lot of work if you don't love that part as a hobby. One movie was fun then more got to be too much work. I liked the parts where she is upstream and the alligators run into the water and grab a meal.

The show is a lot slower than the movie, but, some major gun incompetence aside, it has its bonuses, such as character development, and having a chance to get to know the players better. The cast all did a fine job, and the slight changes from the movie give it a new feel all of its own.I really think they have set a base where the show can go in many different directions, and a more open story line than the movie. The locations, pacing, and overall production was all on par with a good watchable TV show, and the actors and parts they played work pretty good. So give it a go if you enjoy a good show, it's actually been pretty good so far.
