Ranging from .22 to .50... just one representation from each caliber... Im trying to explain to my friend that .22 and 9mm might seem close, but there is a huge difference when you actually compare the bullets/casing

Grab a Speer/CCI or a Hornady catalogue from your local dealer. (or go to their websites and ask for a free one. They show scale images of all the calibers they produce.

They will also show scale drawings of all of their bullets for comparison.

I am surprised no one has come along and mentioned www.ammoguide.com yet.

You can use their cartridge comparison to show any case you desire.

And if you do a search for ammoguide you'll find dozens of threads where folks have displayed pics of ammo.

You might also explain to him that the only thing they have in common is that they are both self contained metallic cartridges. Similarities end there. Besides, when fired from handguns, the 9x19 is roughly 4 times as powerful as the .22 LR.

Build your own charts with the AmmoGuide Visual Comparison Tool...

Goto http://ammoguide.com/ and click on "Visual Comparison" in the menu.
