I am considering an RCBS Precision Bi-Pod Adjustable 7-10 Inches, Grip Pod Bipod Miltary Model or a MAKO TACTICAL MULTICAM FOREGRIP GRIP BIPOD (TPOD T-POD).. Does anyone have any experience with these products, or could suggest their preference..Thanks, Dave

I don't have any idea about those bipods so I can't comment on them. I know a lot people, myself included really like Harris bipods. They seem great for the price.

It seems to me you are looking at apples & oranges.

The RCBS is a copy of the Harris bi-pod, and it is designed for shooting off of it and nothing else.
It appears they sell for about the same price as the Harris, who invented them, and the Harris is still the gold standard. ($200 range, same as the RCBS)

The MAKO T-POD is first and foremost, a front hand grip for an AR-15 with a railed forearm.
True it has tiny bi-pod legs that come out of the hand-grip, but it is nowhere near comparable as a shooting rest to a real bi-pod like the Harris, or the RCBS copy of it.

I think if you want a real shooting bi-pod, get the Harris or RCBS.

If you want a front handgrip that serves a limited role as an expedient bi-pod, get the T-POD for $90 bucks.

Thanks to all that answered.. I walked into my local shop (Horeshoe Pike0 and there happened to be a guy in there that just had a Mako fitted on his sons AR.. He let me try it out and i liked the fore grip.. The smaller legs(quick release) will be great for the intended purpose of Run and gun shoots.. When I feel the need to punch the same hole at 200 yards, I will take my 7m-08 and my Hoppes bench rest out for a walk.. Thanks again for the imput..
