I found a Foster Arms 1911 that shoots really well & fits me well too. From what I've been told, it was $2500 originally, but is available for $1500 (owner needs the money).
If built w/ quality parts by a proficient smith, is this gun durable & worth it? I understand Caspian & Foster are affiliated, what is the relation?
