The only data I have for the 71gr Berry's .32 bullet in .32 Mag is the Lyman 50th and if there's data for it in there, I'm sure there's more data for this load in other manuals or online. I use this bullet because it's cheap, I use it when I load .32 ACP anyway, and it's plated, so no leading issue.

There's likely not much data for that combination considering, as you know, the bullet is intended for .32 ACP, but you should be able to safely work up a load with 85 grain .32 Mag data if you're looking for a light plinking load, use either a light taper crimp, what I would do, or a light roll crimp over the ogive.

What powders do you have? Is the 32 mag the 32 HR Mag? Hodgdon has lots of data for a 77 gr lead bullet,

Bullseye, Titegroup, Power Pistol, Blue Dot, 700x, and True Blue are the powders I have and would think could work. I didn't think about using the load data for the lead bullets (Lyman has data for 75gr) but I guess I could do that.

I have loaded this bullet in .32 HR Mag before with Bullseye and Unique (and .327 with Trail Boss) but I was looking for more data in more powders. Don't want to use Blue Dot, saving it for 10mm.

Direct from Berrys website

Also, I would not use plated bullets for any high velocity rounds.

Where can I find load data for your bullets?

Load data from any load manual or website can be used. Full-metal jacketed, lead bullet, or plated bullet load data can be used as long as the following standards are adhered to:

  • The data contains the correct grain weight of bullet.
  • Berry's max recommended velocity is not exceeded. (This info is displayed on bullet boxes and product webpages.)

    • Standard Plate Bullets Max Velocity: 1,250 fps.
    • Thick-Plate Bullets (TP) Max Velocity: 1,500 fps.
  • Do not over-crimp the bullet. Crimping so tight that bullet deformation occurs, or plating is separated causing visible exposure of the lead core will cause tumbling, key-holing, and reduced accuracy.

Load data containing bullet descriptions such as Plated (P,) Berry's Bullet (BERB,) Total Metal Jacket (TMJ,) Copper Plated (CP,) or CPJ (Copper Plated Jacket,) refers to plated bullet data.

Cartridge Overall Lengths (COL) are found in the load data being used. DO NOT EXCEED SAAMI MAX COL SPECS.

Per Lyman #48: 71 gr fmj (I don’t know if it’s different from #50).

Bullseye: 3.8-4.3 gr
Blue Dot : 6.5-7.8 gr
Unique: 4.5-5.0 gr

and a few more you didn’t mention. Double check data from the manual. I take no responsibility for typos.
