I've come to realize that the stuff offered at 3gungear.com is more in tune with what I want (being the gear freak that I am) than with the military type stuff. Sure, I could get a vest that holds 8 or 12 FAL mags, but that's a LOT of ammo; 160 and 240 rounds, respectively. I think two or four mags would get a fellow through most firefights.

Of course, the odds of me being in a firefight are kind of slim (unless they send me to Iraq, of course), but more realistically, I might want to start competing in matches of some kind (once I move to Utah where they actually HAVE such things).

ANYway, REGARDLESS of whether I have any use for it, I want a thigh holster, a good one. A thigh holster frees up room on your belt for other pouches and stuff.

Here's the trick; I want one that'll fit my CZ-97. The CZ-97B has approximately the same external dimensions as the Glock 21 or USP45 (both being double stack .45s with similar barrel lengths).

I also want something untactical; a thigh holster for a REVOLVER. A 6" N-frame, to be specific. And pouches for speedloaders.

I doubt anyone makes the latter, but it's worth checking. Any suggestions?

My vote goes to Safariland. I use one of the thigh holsters at work and it does the job.
Revolver wise? The only spot I have seen for a wheelgun was at Wild Bill's holsters. The photo is for revolver. All leather, don't know the cost though.
