I've got a Para 3 LW that has the compression lock. It's more or less OK but I won't be getting any more with that lock. I still really like that knife though, it's especially easy to carry even in lightweight shorts.

I will say that the compression lock does basically force you to move your hand out of the blade path as it closes. Hopefully all of us here are more mindful, so it wouldn't be an issue, but it might be an issue for somebody.
BTW, I reached out to Justin Gingrich today, to see if he would be interested in making belt sheaths for the ARK. We'll get together next week. He's good people, and I hope we can get him to offer it as a standard item.

Two of my user blades made by a member here = Sam1911 . He made me a few and they are VERY good ! Right up there with some of the best custom knives IMHO. I don't like fancy much.
