OK, guys, I am hoping someone on here can help me find another one of these ankle holsters. I have worn/carried a J-frame S&W in this one for over 30 years, had it re-stitched by a shoemaker about 15 years ago, but it really needs to be replaced. (As you can see from the photos.) I'd like to find another one just like it, leather (not nylon), padded on the back (ankle) side, with the velcro strap. I'd actually like to get two - one for a 2" J-frame .38 S&W and another for a Walther PPK .380 - if I could find some manufacturer who makes this holster. Any advice or a point in the right direction appreciated.

That's pretty close, but wow...... $253!! I'm hoping to find something for significantly less than that. (Unless the gun comes with it!!)

In the interests of full disclosure, I didn't even look at the price. I'm guessing it'd last you at least another 30 years though...

Take a look at DeSantis Leather. They are similar in design and not priced that high. I've used one about 20 years.

although there is a local fellow here who can probably recondition yours. Have been surprised at some of the stuff he's "rescued". He does mailorder work.

it does look like your holster is an Alessi. Lou dies a few years back, I believe his family continue the business.
