No, it really doesn't...

It looks cool for the range, but for any defensive/offensive use, I want ONE firearm with ONE magazine that could fail. Not TWO.
 
The rear shouldn't be SBR, it says 18" barrel and the Mech-Tech upper for Glock isn't considered SBR. The forward would definitely be SBR.

I think a single carbine with the magazine forward the pistol grip, utilizing a Beta C-mag, would be a much better product. That thing doesn't look very ergonomic, looks like there might be issues if the barrels aren't EXACTLY lined up, and would likely damage the finish on your weapons. It would make more sense to me to just come out with a double-barrel rifle instead of using this bizarre contraption, or having an upper which replaces the slides and uses two Glock frames as the lowers.
 
I don't think it is really anything that is going to get traction in serious circles. That said I'm not sure its because of the logic below.

To me this is about like saying you'd prefer being in a single engine plane over a double engine one because there is only one engine to fail.

My objections would be more do to what would be relatively complicated manual or arms. If the idea is to keep the gun up and ready to fire then one has to reload on gun with one non firing hand and the other with the other non firing hand. This means going for mags in different ways and or different places. You have multiple charging handles. Two different firing hands. I'm sure some of it could be smoothed out with training. However, I prefer simple and consistent when it comes to fighting. Simple and consistent is not only easier to learn it is much easier to implement when the chips are down.

Given the reliability of the go to firearms I've used and the relative speed of transitions and/or reloads, I don't think the added complication is worth the benefit. At least not at first brush, perhaps if I used one I would feel differently.

Also given the availability of carbines that take glock mags and the availability of 50 round drums, I'm not sure having an extra 16 rounds before a need to reload is worth the complication that comes along with them. Transitioning to a sidearm with 18 rounds on board in around 1 second seems the better thing.
 
One other issue is that if you are using two firearms, one with an 18" barrel and the other with about a 6" barrel, there will be vastly different POIs.
 
All these posts confirming it's SBR are really bummin me out. I think that would be awesome at the range. 2x 9mm Glocks and a 33rd mag for each!?!?... OF COURSE that much fun would be illegal.

Assuming the price were right (say <$600) and the rear pistol wasn't an SBR, you should be fine if you only put the rear pistol in and don't put another pistol in the front.

This looks like vaporwear though, especially since they're only offering LE and military bids right now. It probably has the least attraction to them.

Normally, I'd agree with you.

But, if one fails, you've got as equally a good chance of still being able to fire with the other as you do having it fail.

You're not slicing your odds in half, you're doubling them.
 
I don't see how it's not an SBR, nor do I see any practical use for it. At least not until they show how I'm carry it concealed. :rolleyes:

Just another mall ninja money magnet.
