Low Profile Combo For Self Defense

In my opinion, any flashlight that controls both modes and on-off with a single switch is absolutely unsuitable for self-defense. I've used a number of the multimode flashlights that used a single switch to control both on-off and mode selection and trying to get the flashlight on and in the proper mode in a hurry can be almost comedic.

Here's the chart that explains how the switch operates the light and selects modes. It is, in my opinion, ridiculous.

To be fair, they don't bill the light as being suitable for self-defense/tactical use.

I see where you're coming from, but I have been able to quickly activate the 920 lumen strobe by double tapping the button on 920 lumens mode. I utilize the memory function for self defense by always putting the flashlight on that mode before I carry it.
